All Star Sports Lounge

The idea. In the heart of Rhodes town, All Star Sports Lounge runs the length of a city block, with one façade on the coastal avenue and one on a lively pedestrian street. It is many places in one: a sports bar with big screens, a coffee bar, a show kitchen, a cocktail bar, and the reception of the hotel above.

The façades. On the pedestrian side, perforated aluminium screens in rust tones line the front and frame the central sign, with a matching metal pergola. On the seafront, concave rust-coloured letters hold neon light, while narrow beams of light sweep the wall and give it rhythm.

The materials. Turquoise walls and ceilings set the stage for rusted metal and bright yellow: chairs, and graphic sports figures that run across the walls. The rust finish returns on the main bar, the swing doors, the passages and the custom ceiling lights, which spread light in a star pattern that echoes the brand. Terrazzo-look tiles cover the floor; glossy white subway tiles with turquoise grout dress the snack bar and show kitchen.

The feeling. Loud, playful and unmistakably urban: a place built for match nights, with a sunset over the sea as the half-time show.
